In today’s global landscape, new and emerging threats continue to necessitate vigilance in security across the entire supply chain. The executive leadership and management of John S. James Co. is committed to maintain policies and procedures for security protocols throughout our operations that meet or exceed the minimum-security criteria as a CTPAT partner. We support CTPAT’s mission to protect the supply chain from criminal activities such as drug trafficking, terrorism, human smuggling, forced labor, and moving illegal contraband, and to prevent cargo loss or tampering.

As part of our commitment to CTPAT, we are conducting required review of our records to ensure we understand your supply chain security measures. Part of this review includes receipt of updated security review for your company. We request you review the below criteria and confirm on behalf of your company / supply chain. This information will be kept confidential by our CTPAT coordinator and CTPAT team. It will only be shared at the specific request of CBP CTPAT personnel in support of John S. James Co. compliance with the CTPAT requirements.

Container Security and Inspection

Do you have a process in place to maintain the integrity of your containers? *

Do you have a process in place at point of stuffing to properly affix a seal prior to the goods leaving? *

Do you use High Security Seals? *

Do your seals meet or exceed the PAS ISO 17712 standard? *

Do you have procedures in place to verify the integrity of the container structure prior to stuffing? *

Do you have written procedures that outline how a seal is to controlled and affixed to a container? *

Do you have a process in place for recognizing and reporting compromised seals and/or containers? *
